In an industry where your looks matter a lot, actors resorting to various means for bodily perfections, comes as no surprise. Whether they admit it or not, but their physical transformations speak out loud about them going under the knife. While some the surgeries turned out to be nightmares, for others, the cosmetic help did wonders. Take a look at some such ladies who only looked better after their treatments.

Shilpa Shetty

The actress was among Bollywood’s average-looking actresses when she entered the industry in 1993. However, she looked quite different from her ‘Baazigar’ days, in the film ‘Shool’ in 1999. Her item song ‘UP Bihar Lootne’ saw her in a better avatar.

Shruti Hassan

Well, Shruti’s stunning makeover needs no explanation. The actress completely transformed herself in 2011 when her new found looks got noticed in the film ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’. Before that, the star daughter appeared in films like ‘Luck’ and ‘Hey Ram’ in those raw and rough appearance.

Priyanka Chopra


The actress hit the headlines when she was crowned as the ‘Miss World’ in 2000. She then entered Bollywood in 2013 and made a place with her acting skills. While her talent won hearts, the actress was scanned for her looks. Then in 2004, it was her film ‘Aitraaz’ that saw in her a transformed version. Her nose and lips looked different and better. And today, the actress scores best in looks, talent and fame.

Sridevi

The actress started her career with south Indian films when she first appeared in the Tamil film ‘Muruga’ in 1967. The film saw her in a darker avatar with broader nose and thinner lips. She entered Bollywood and was seen in the same avatar in films like ‘Solva Sawan’, ‘Sadma’ and ‘Himmatwala’, until ‘Tohfa’ in 1984 that saw the actress with a new nose, lips and face cut.

Shama Sikander

The TV actress is perhaps the classic example of cosmetic surgeries gone right or may be perfect.  Shama, who is last remembered as ‘Pooji’ in the show ‘Yeh meri Life Hai’ that aired in 2005, she came back in limelight with her birthday bash in 2014, only to raise eyebrows with her stunning makeover. The actress was completely transformed and looked much better.

Rekha

The timeless beauty grabbed eyeballs for her good looks in the year 1973 with the film ‘Namak Haraam’. Prior to that, the lady scored quite low with those busy eyebrows, broad lips and face cut.

Kangana Ranaut

The Himachali beauty entered Bollywood in 2006 and instantly got noticed for her acting prowess and unconventional yet simple looks. However, we got to see her sexier version in 2010 in the film ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’. Her fuller lips and pointed nose were quite evident and must say, the alleged cosmetic treatments have only made her into a stunner with time. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan

The actress, who started the trend of size zero, floored one and all with her sexy avatar in the film ‘Tashan’ in 2008. Her svelte frame, prominent cheek bones and face cut, said a different story from the times she entered Bollywood in 2000.

Gauahar Khan

The model-turned-actress got noticed for her dance skills and of course looks, when she appeared in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ in 2009. Before that, the lady sported bigger nose and round face in films like ‘Aan: Men at Work’ in 2004. 

Karisma Kapoor

The other Kapoor girl too has transformed a lot with time. From bushy eyebrows, to that pointed nose, Lolo too got everything corrected and right in place. Her new avatar was first noticed in 1997 in the film ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ where she looked hotter than ever.

The former Miss Universe appeared in her first film in 1996. Though she was always considered as a good-looking actress, the Bengali beauty too decided to go under the knife and changes were evident in the year 1999 in the film ‘Biwi No. 1’. From cheek bones, to face cut, eyebrows and lips, seems like Sush got everything corrected.
